DANFORTH MUSIC HALL
(City of Toronto)
Dating back to its origins in 1919, the building was initially erected as a movie theatre and bore the name Allen’s Danforth, in homage to its proprietor, the Allen Theatre Chain.
In the late 1970s, the venue underwent a transformation and adopted the name Music Hall as it began showcasing live acts.
Under the ownership of Impresario Inc. in 2011, the establishment underwent a rebranding and was officially renamed “The Danforth Music Hall.”
Following extensive remodeling and renovation efforts, the Danforth Music Hall has evolved into a prominent venue, drawing attention as a major attraction for concerts featuring both international and local artists.
